THE OTTAWA HOME
A closer look at where we call home in Ottawa. This started off as a fun personal project, walking around the older neighbourhoods of Ottawa, camera in hand, looking for unique and interesting home designs to capture. From the modern in-fill houses popping up in Westboro and Hintonburg, to the early 19th century gems in the Golden Triangle and the Glebe, there is plenty of great architecture spread across the City – it just takes a bit of time to uncover it. Other than providing a good excuse to wonder around Ottawa, these early images also helped spark an interest in real estate and architectural photography, and gave me the push to peruse work in commercial photography.
